Under the direction of its quality management team, BST operates a quality standard system BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
In 1990, BST gained approval to BS5750 Pt2:1979, the Quality System has been updated continuously through to the present standard. During this process the now
familiar themes of Total Quality Management were incorporated.
Our quality system provides the control and mandatory procedures relating to every element of our supply from complete traceability on material purchase, to purchase
complete supported with
certificated product distribution.
Together with our third party BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, we also hold quality approvals from many major international companies.
Independent Testing
A full range of destructive and non-destructive testing is carried out at Namas accredited test laboratory's including tensile, stress rupture proof load and hardness. M.P.I. Magnetic Partical inspection, Dye penetrant and Ultrasonic procedures are carried out on site to the latest Defence and British Standards.
